ANONYMOUS NEWSGROUPS

For many years I have enjoyed Usenet Newsgroups. They have always been a forum where anyone can participate and post messages on any topic one can imagine.

A good friend of mine approached me earlier in the week and asked if he could post a message on Usenet anonymously without revealing his real identity or even his IP address in his post. Seems he wanted to make a post on a job related group without fear of being identified.

When one posts messages through their news provider the post like emails, contain headers that reveal information about the poster including his actual IP address (which leads right back to his PC).

I have used a service called Ultimate Anonymity ( http://www.ultimate-anonymity.com ) for years. They provide tools to read AND post to usenet newsgroups anonymously. In fact, I was on their site yesterday and noticed they are having a promotion and are offering a free Usenet Newsgroup account on a premium usenet Providers service. Using this free Usenet account along with their tunneling software allows one to read, download and post with complete anonymity as the tunnel creates a secured, anonymous channel between the Users PC and the news server.

You can check out all of Ultimate Anonymitys products at http://www.ultimate-anonymity.com/products.htm as they offer products that provide anonymity and privacy in literally every online protocol.
